F-500 Firefighting Agent

The agent that takes the fuel out of the fire.

The Blaze Terminator fights with F-500 Encapsulator Agent — the next-generation, eco-friendly, fluorine-free, most versatile firefighting agent available.

Encapsulating technology

Admixed to water, F-500 EA forms stable, spherical micelles (per NFPA 18A) that encapsulate fuels and flammable substances at the molecular level — permanently rendering them non-flammable and non-ignitable. Fires lose their fuel. Toxins, smoke and soot are locked inside the micelles too, including fluorine compounds from battery fires.

Superior cooling

F-500 EA lowers the evaporating temperature of water to 70 °C by acting on water’s hydrogen bonds. Heat energy dissipates rapidly; surfaces and structures cool down substantially faster.

Reduced surface tension

F-500 EA cuts the surface tension of water by more than 50%, creating smaller droplets and more cooling surface. The water penetrates deeper and spreads faster — getting exactly where it is needed.

F-500 EA concentrate containers

Admix ratio

0.13%

The F-500 EA concentrate is admixed to water at just 0.1% to 3%, depending on application — a 3,000-litre tank goes a very long way.

0.1% — wetting3% — max admix

Why F-500 EA

  • Effective on 98% of fires
  • Saves up to 80% of water
  • Encapsulates fuels, gases and toxins
  • Superior heat dissipation and cooling properties
  • Eco-friendly, non-hazardous and readily biodegradable
Approvals, certifications & environmental compliance

F-500 EA is approved to extinguish Class A and Class B fires according to DIN EN2 (MPA Dresden, SP83/08) and according to UL and NFPA ("Encapsulator Agent" per NFPA 18A). It is approved for maritime use by RINA and is MED-certified ("Wheelmark"). F-500 EA complies with legal standards for safety, toxicity and hygiene: fluorine-free, non-toxic, non-hazardous and eco-compatible. It is readily biodegradable (OECD 306 & OECD 301b) and REACH compliant. Up to 3% admixture in water is non-hazardous and meets German Water Hazard Classification 0 (VwVwS 1999, 2005 version) — no extinguishing agent has a lower water-hazard classification. Non-hazardous waste under RCRA CFR 261.

Control & Connection

Three operational modes. Zero blind spots.

The Blaze Terminator is designed with versatile operational modes for comprehensive, adaptive fire management in any scenario — with global connectivity for control and monitoring anytime, anywhere.

Operators monitoring alerts in a control centre

01

Auto-detection & Alert Mode

Advanced detection identifies wildfire threats from near to far — up to several kilometres. On detection, early alert signals go out via satellite to the management centre or the associated emergency firefighting service, ensuring awareness and readiness before fires escalate.

02

Autonomous Activation Mode

When no immediate human response is available, the Blaze Terminator acts on its own — activating its firefighting mechanisms to suppress the fire immediately, minimising damage and escalation without waiting for human intervention.

Trained personnel activating the system on site

03

On-site Manual Activation Mode

For instances where direct human intervention is needed, trained personnel can activate the system on site — giving firefighters one more tool to combat fires aggressively and effectively.

Global Connectivity

Connected by satellite, anywhere on Earth.

Satellite IoT may well be the next game-changing technology in IoT — long seen as the natural complement to cellular networks, hardening the resilience of remote and critical applications. New infrastructure, dedicated wireless standards and innovative receiver hardware on the Blaze Terminator™ now bring down the cost of non-terrestrial network (NTN) connectivity — and extend its reach for the moments that matter most.

  • Live NTN coverage today across North America & Europe
  • Australia, Japan & New Zealand coverage rolling out now
  • No towers, no blackspots — alerts reach you even off-grid
